Real Madrid made a return from the international break with a 2-0 victory over Real Sociedad.

Penalty goals from Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe sealed the three points for the Los Blancos.

Carlo Ancelotti however reserved special praise for one player – Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe was given the Man of the Match award by La Liga for his display against Sociedad, where he tormented their defenders with his pace and movement.

Ancelotti stated after the game: “I see Mbappe fresher and more active. Mbappe was very active with and without the ball, he was very dangerous.

“He played well with Vinicius and the other attackers, I really liked this game from him.”

Mbappe has now taken his goal tally to three goals in five La Liga matches so far this season.
