Real Madrid are yet to hit top gear this season.

The Los Blancos remain unbeaten this term, but the performances have been far from impressive.

Carlo Ancelotti has blamed it on the loss of key players during the summer, even though he admits that Real Madrid have a better squad.

“You’ve seen what happened [in the summer] – we lost Nacho and [Toni] Kroos, two important ones. And Joselu. In exchange, we got one of the best players in the world [Kylian Mbappe],” Carlo Ancelotti told the media.

“Do we have a better squad than last year? I think so.”
