Vinicius Jr has received the Champions League Best Player of the Season award, for the 2023-24 campaign.

Vinicius Jr had an extraordinary campaign last season where he scored six goals and delivered five assists in 10 Champions League games.

Vinicius Jr also scored in the final against Borussia Dortmund, as Madrid went on to win the competition.

Vinicius Jr wrote on Instagram: “Champions League 23/24 best player. Hard work and personality gets you to high places. Thanks to all my teammates for this. I love you guys!!!”

The Brazilian is also a strong contender to claim the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.
