According to Marca’s Jose Felix Diaz, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has banned his players from protesting against referees controversial decisions.
Ancelotti didn’t like some of the behaviour from his side in the 3-2 win against Alaves last time out.
Carlo Ancelotti believes his players ‘crossed the line’ and should’ve controlled their emotions better against Alaves.
For Ancelotti, his players should rather channel their aggression into ‘goals and good play’.
Ancelotti is also particular about Vinicius Jr, and wants the Brazilian to focus only on the game and not on the hostile atmosphere aimed to distract him.
“We’ve talked about it [receiving too many yellow cards]. We have seen too many yellows for protests,” Carlo Ancelotti has told the media.
“The only way is to avoid unnecessary protests.”
