Toni Kroos retired from playing at the end of last season.

Kroos was highly rated during his 11-year stay at Real Madrid, and is rated as a top legend at the club.

Amid rumours that Kroos could return to coach at Real Madrid, Toni Kroos has made it clear that he has no intention of becoming a coach.

He stated, “No, I’m not going to be a coach.”

On becoming Carlo Ancelotti’s assistant, Kroos further said: “If Ancelotti asks me to be his assistant? No, impossible.”

He added, “I will always give him my opinion. But he knows why I retired.”

The 34-year-old highlighted the challenges beyond just playing. He noted, “The amount of travel and hotels is significant. It’s never been just the 90 minutes on the pitch. If that’s all it was, I could play for as long as I wanted.”
