Carlo Ancelotti has had two successful spells as Real Madrid manager.

For his second spell, Ancelotti returned to the club in 2021, and has been very successful.

Ancelotti has however had a turbulent season so far this campaign, as he has been unable to successfully infuse Kylian Mbappe into his team alongside Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo.

Carlo Ancelotti has however revealed he wants to win the new Champions League before he retires.

In an interview with L’Équipe, Ancelotti explained: “I am a coach who always wants to reach the top.”

When asked what could lead him to retire, Ancelotti jokingly replied: “I would say if Real Madrid fired me.”

Ancelotti then shared how supportive his wife has been of his coaching career, even at age 64.

He said: “My wife wants me to continue.”
