Spain have released their squad for the final international break of the year.
Interestingly, no Real Madrid player made Luis de la Fuente’s squad.
Spain are set to play Denmark and Switzerland in the Nations League.
Luis de la Fuente has announced the Spain squad for their upcoming games, and has gone for some some new faces, including Barcelona’s Marc Casado, Athletic Club’s Aitor Paredes, and Porto’s Samu Omorodion, who have all received their first senior call-ups.
Alvaro Morata, who recently sustained a head injury during AC Milan training this week, is also included in the squad as captain.
Dani Carvajal who is an ever present feature for Spain is absent through injury.
The absence of any Real Madrid players in the Spain shows how a lack of Spanish core is evident in the Los Blancos team.
