It was a sad evening for Real Madrid defender Eder Militao, as he suffered yet another long-term injury.

Militao was subbed off in the first-half against Osasuna, and looked in deep pain, and was eventually stretchered off the pitch.

Tests have confirmed that Eder Militao suffered an ACL injury against Osasuna.

According to El Chiringuito, Militao will now be sidelined for the next nine months for the second year running.

Militao’s season is now over, and he’d have to focus on a return for the 2025-26 campaign.

Real Madrid are still without David Alaba, as the defence look thin at the moment.

For Militao, he will be fighting to regain his form ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
