It was a sad evening for Real Madrid defender Eder Militao, as he suffered yet another long-term injury in the 4-0 win over Osasuna.

Against Osasuna, Madrid suffered injuries to Rodrygo, Eder Militao and Lucas Vazquez – all happening in the first-half.

Ancelotti has slammed the hectic fixture schedule, and blamed it for the injuries.

“Suffering three injuries in the first half is very unusual. This calendar doesn’t allow the players to rest,” Carlo Ancelotti said in his press conference after the Osasuna game.

“Our medical team are evaluating the three injuries now. We’ll see.”

Meanwhile, according to reports, tests have confirmed that Eder Militao suffered an ACL injury against Osasuna.

According to El Chiringuito, Militao will now be sidelined for the next nine months for the second year running.

Militao’s season is now over, and he’d have to focus on a return for the 2025-26 campaign.
