Barcelona striker Vitor Roque has made a bold revelation to choose Cristiano Ronaldo over Barca legend Lionel Messi.

Barca signed Roque from Athletico Paranaense last year for €30 million but loaned him to Betis this summer after a rocky start with the Blaugrana.

Vitor Roque who’s impressing on loan with Real Betis, recently spoke to Real Betis’ official TV channel about his struggles at Barcelona.

Vitor Roque also opened up about his football idols, and admitted he’s a Ronaldo fan over Lionel Messi.

“[My idol is] Cristiano. And I really like Neymar too, for his way of playing, his Brazilian magic. But [it’s] Cristiano to be honest,” Roque said.

With the rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid, it’s quite rare to hear a Barcelona player openly admitting their love for Cristiano Ronaldo over Messi, and vice-versa.
