Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr, sustained a hamstring injury against Leganes, and is expected to miss the next three weeks for the Los Blancos.

Vinicius Jr is a key player for Real Madrid, but his teammate Jude Bellingham has urged the rest of the team to step up in his absence.

Jude Bellingham said: “Yeah, I think all the players need to step up and take more responsibility. Vini is one of the best players in the world, if not the best player in the world for me.

“But getting used to having his presence, his magnitude on the pitch, the way he can decide a game with his actions even if he isn’t on his best, it’s a huge quality to have.

“Obviously when he’s not here, you feel the miss, but it’s a great opportunity for us to come in, step up and take responsibility. As a team we need to do that.”
