Kylian Mbappe has now missed two penalties within the last eight days.
Mbappe had a good opportunity to level the scores for Real Madrid in the second-half of the 2-1 defeat to Athletic Club, but played an easy penalty which was thwarted by the goalkeeper.
After his latest penalty miss, Carlo Ancelotti has spoken again on the club’s penalty takers.
“Our penalty shooters are [Kylian] Mbappe, Vini [Vinicius Junior] and Jude [Bellingham]. Whoever shoots is good,” Carlo Ancelotti told the media.
We won’t be surprised if Mbappe takes a little break from penalty duties after the recent miss.
