Real Madrid have won the first-ever FIFA Intercontinental Cup, after beating Pachuca 3-0 in the final.

Real won the game 3-0 at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar.

Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in the first-half following a fine assist from Vinicius Jr.

Rodrygo followed it up with a brilliant strike 8 minutes after half-time before Vinicius Jr completed the route with a penalty kick in the 84th minute.

Vinicius Jr has been voted the Player of the Tournament following his performance in the final.


Vinicius Jr recorded a goal and an assist in the final against Pachuca.

Fresh off winning the FIFA The Best Men’s Player of the Year, Vinicius was simply unplayable in the final, completing four dribbles and creating 3 chances.

Vinicius Jr has now scored 14 goals and recorded 10 assists in 20 games for Real Madrid this season.
