Federico Valverde scored a rocket of a goal against Sevilla, which gave Real Madrid a two-goal lead in the 4-2 win over Sevilla.

Just inside 20 minutes, Valverde launched a trademark rocket from outside the area that went into the net.

Valverde has revealed that the goal was from a training ground routine.

“My goal [against Sevilla] was a rehearsed play [from the training ground],” Federico Valverde told Real Madrid website.

“The coaching staff insisted that I do it [shoot often]. It went well and ended in a goal. In the end, we ended the year with a victory.

“I always try to shoot from outside the area because I’m good at it.”
