Real Madrid are set to face Deportiva Minera away in the Copa del Rey clash.

Real Madrid were eliminated from the Copa Del Rey at the quarter-final stage last season by Atletico Madrid, as Athletic Bilbao won the tournament.

Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping to win it this year.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has opened up on the competition, as he claims not winning it will be a problem.

“The Copa del Rey isn’t a problem until you’re out of it,” said the Real Madrid boss.

“When you’re out of the Copa del Rey it’s a problem because Real Madrid try to fight in every competition.

“The problem will be if we go out of the Copa del Rey. In recent years, we’ve done very well in this competition and playing in the final is a great thing. The aim is to reach the final, as always.”
