Kylian Mbappe has been won the December Player of the Month Award for Real Madrid after a stunning run of form last month.

The French superstar picked up his award at Real Madrid’s training ground in Valdebebas.

Mbappe was undoubtedly Madrid’s best player last month, and he was glad to have won the award – his first at the club.

Speaking after receiving the award, Mbappe said: “The team and I are in a good moment. We started the year very well, with a difficult match that we won in the end, and now we are going for different competitions.

“We hope to win and play well. There are many games but, as they say here, we have to win everything and we are going to compete.”

Mbappe scored four goals and made one assist in the month of December, much more than any Real Madrid player.
