Real Madrid will discover their Copa del Rey quarter-final opponent on Monday, January 20.
The Los Blancos defeated Celta Vigo in the second round, beating 5-2 after extra time.
The draw for the quarterfinals will take place at Las Rozas Soccer City at 1:00 pm. The match will be single-legged and held on either February 4, 5, or 6.
There’s a likelihood that Real Madrid will face Barcelona in the next round.
The Los Blancos could now face one of seven teams: Valencia, Getafe, Leganes, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Osasuna or Real Sociedad.
Barcelona star Gavi has sent a message to Real Madrid, stating that his team will go all out for victory regardless of who they face Los Blancos in the Copa del Rey.
As Madrid could potentially face Barcelona in the quarterfinals or later in the competition, Gavi doesn’t seem to care.
When asked about the possibility of facing Madrid, Gavi said, “I don’t care if we face Madrid in the quarters or in the final, our attitude will be the same.
“We’ll go out to win.”
