Real Madrid star out for three weeks after Celta Vigo clash

Eduardo Camavinga is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up a muscle injury during Real Madrid’s dominant 5-2 victory over Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey Round of 16, according to Marca.

The club’s medical team has confirmed that the French midfielder sustained a muscle injury in his left leg.

As a result, the 22-year-old is expected to be out of action for approximately three weeks. His potential return date has been set for February 9, when Los Blancos face city rivals Atletico Madrid.

Camavinga has been a key figure for Real Madrid this season, featuring in eight La Liga matches and registering two assists.

His absence will undoubtedly be a blow to Carlo Ancelotti’s side as they navigate a packed fixture schedule.
