Las Palmas coach Diego Martinez couldn’t hide his admiration for Kylian Mbappe after the French forward delivered a stunning performance in Real Madrid’s 4-1 victory over his side.
Despite Las Palmas taking an early lead, Mbappe’s brilliance turned the game around, with the forward scoring twice to lead the comeback.
Speaking after the match, Martinez was full of praise for Mbappe, even suggesting the Real Madrid star isn’t yet at his peak, and wondered what his peak will look like.
“If Mbappe is this good when he isn’t in form, imagine when he is,” Martínez remarked, underlining the remarkable talent and potential of the Frenchman.
Mbappe’s display once again showcased why he is considered one of the best players in the world, even if Barcelona fans may prefer to see such brilliance in Blaugrana colors rather than in the white of Real Madrid.
