Real Madrid showed their might, as the Los Blancos defeated RB Salzburg 5-1 in the Champions League.
Real were leading 5-0, and should have kept a clean sheet, but conceded a late goal.
For Carlo Ancelotti, he wasn’t angry about conceding that goal.
“We have met our objective — to win and try to play a good game. We were a little soft at first, but then we fixed it well,” Carlo Ancelotti said after Real Madrid’s 5-1 win.
“Obviously, there is no doubt about the quality of the above. We try to fix the rest because the efficiency we have at the top is incredible.
“We have to fix the other things. Sometimes we do it well and sometimes less so. But we are on a good streak.
“I’m not angry about the goal we conceded. We have done well in the past. Rüdiger was very good today, Alaba is back, and Asencio is fine.
“It’s a collective problem. It is the key of this year. If we can have collective commitment we will be successful and we will be able to take advantage of the quality from above.”
Real Madrid have now qualified for the playoffs with one leg in the round of 16.
