Jude Bellingham had high praise for his Real Madrid teammate Rodrygo after Los Blancos secured a dominant 3-1 victory over Manchester City.

Speaking after the match, Bellingham acknowledged the impact of Real Madrid’s attacking firepower but singled out Rodrygo for special recognition.

“Mbappé had a difficult start to the season, and now Kylian and Vini’s speed is terrifying for any defence,” Bellingham said.

However, it was Rodrygo who earned the biggest compliment from the Englishman. “Rodrygo is so underrated. For me, he’s probably the most talented and most gifted player in the squad,” Bellingham continued.

“Some of the things he does with the ball, I’m like, ‘How?’ I would twist my ankles if I tried to do that.”

Rodrygo certainly lived up to the praise, delivering a sensational performance against City. He played a key role in Real Madrid’s attacking dominance, setting up Kylian Mbappé’s third goal and causing havoc in the opposition half.

With Bellingham and the rest of the squad recognising his talent, Rodrygo’s influence at Real Madrid continues to grow.
