Real Madrid defeated Real Sociedad 1-0 in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final clash away from home.

The victory left a sad taste, as Dani Ceballos
was in tears after picking up what looked like a knee injury towards the end of the game.

Ceballos was taken off the pitch in the 90th minute after suffering a brutal collision.

Reacting to the injury, Carlo Ancelotti stated:
“Ceballos has a muscular problem.

“Ceballos will undergo tests tomorrow [to understand the extent of the injury].

When asked which player would replace Ceballos, Ancelotti said: “Luka Modrić and Jude Bellingham are similar to him in terms of ball possession.”
