Bayern Munich director Max Eberl has spoken out about the future of Joshua Kimmich, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and Barcelona.

With speculation growing around the midfielder’s next move, Eberl made it clear that Bayern remains the priority, regardless of individual players.

“Generally speaking, nobody is above the club. If a player decides differently, then he decides differently. Things will continue at FC Bayern,” Eberl told BILD.

Despite the transfer rumours, Eberl emphasised that no final decision has been made regarding Kimmich’s future.

“We are not at that point with Kimmich,” he added.

As Real Madrid continue to monitor the situation, it remains to be seen whether Kimmich will take on a new challenge in La Liga or extend his stay in Germany.
