Martin Ødegaard played a key role in Arsenal’s emphatic 7-1 victory over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.

The former Real Madrid midfielder was instrumental, scoring twice and providing an assist as the Gunners all but secured their place in the quarter-finals.

Speaking to Amazon Prime via Mundo Deportivo after the game, Ødegaard was asked about the possibility of facing his former club, Real Madrid, in the next round.

“It would be special to go back there,” he said.

The Norwegian spent six years with Los Blancos, but opportunities were limited, making just 11 appearances before moving to Arsenal in search of regular football.
