Ancelotti backs 39-year-old Modric to play against Rayo Vallecano and Atletico Madrid

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Luka Modric is fit and ready to feature in the upcoming clashes against Rayo Vallecano and Atletico Madrid.

The veteran midfielder, who continues to defy age with his performances, remains a key figure in the squad.

Speaking ahead of the Rayo Vallecano match, Ancelotti expressed his confidence in Modric’s fitness and availability.

“Modric can play tomorrow and against Atleti. He has no recovery problem,” Ancelotti assured reporters.

The Italian coach also praised the Croatian’s dedication and influence within the team.

“I am not surprised because I see what he does every day, how he acts in training. He is an example that the youngsters have to follow.”
