Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has made it clear that the La Liga title race is far from decided, despite Barcelona’s advantage at the top of the table.

Speaking to the media ahead of Los Blancos’ crucial clash against Leganés on Saturday, Ancelotti emphasised that his team remains fully focused on the challenge ahead.

“The team is pretty good. The players who have returned have had plenty of time to recover. I’ve given them a few days’ rest,” Ancelotti said, highlighting the squad’s readiness for the decisive phase of the season.

With Madrid still competing on multiple fronts, the Italian tactician stressed the importance of every remaining match. “We have a lot of games from tomorrow until the end. Every game increases the responsibility we have because every game can be decisive to win the three titles we can win.”

When asked whether Barcelona have already secured La Liga, Ancelotti was quick to shut down any such claims. “No, Barcelona have the advantage, but we have the Clásico and there are many games left,” he asserted. “We have to do as much as possible, starting with tomorrow.”

Madrid fans will take encouragement from Ancelotti’s fighting spirit, knowing that the team is determined to push until the very end in their pursuit of glory.
