Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has managed 20 goals and three assists from 14 matches in all competitions and that includes three hat-tricks.

The 22 year old striker was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer but Real Madrid president Florentino Perez opted against signing the striker due to Real Madrid already having Karim Benzema.

Recents reports have claimed Haaland has a release clause of around €200million in his Manchester City contract which can be activated in the summer of 2024.

Asked about Haaland’s release clause and whether Real Madrid will sign him in 2024, Perez told Cadena Ser’s El Larguero: “I have no idea. We already have the best players.”
