Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has given his verdict on the 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

Joselu gave Real Madrid the lead in the 3rd minute before Raul de Tomas equalized for Rayo Vallecano from the penalty spot in the 27th minute Ancelotti believes his team became nervous after the penalty.

Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal was then sent off late in the game.

Ancelotti said: “Playing here is always difficult. There were a lot of duels and fights. Rayo were good. We got a point, we’re not satisfied. But maybe in the future this could be a good point.”

Ancelotti added: “We’re not happy after this draw. We were good until the penalty, our game changed after it and we got nervous.”
