La Liga president Javier Tebas has admitted he’s backing Real Madrid to win the La Liga this season.

Barcelona are currently nine points clear of Real Madrid with 13 games to go.

However, Tebas believes Madrid can catch up with, and overtake Barcelona in the title race this season.

Asked who will win the league in his interview with Movistar, Tebas said: “I’m a Madridista. Real Madrid have already made league comebacks with 7-8 points behind, there are still a lot of La Liga games left.

“Imagine Madrid winning El Clasico, they would be very close.”
